Terms & Conditions
Effective date: October 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Wastenex Recycling & Disposal website at wastenex.com (the "Site") and the waste collection, disposal, and recycling services ("Services") provided by Wastenex Recycling & Disposal ("Wastenex," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or requesting Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
1. Description of Services
Wastenex provides construction and demolition debris removal, dirt and soil recycling and disposal, scheduled waste pickups, and waste tracking and documentation support to commercial, industrial, and residential customers in the greater Los Angeles area. Specific service details, availability, and pricing are confirmed at the time of booking and may vary by project, location, and material type.
2. Scheduling & Site Access
Pickup and drop-off appointments are scheduled by phone, email, or through the Site. You are responsible for providing accurate scheduling information and ensuring our team has safe, reasonable access to the pickup location at the agreed time. We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, inaccurate information, or circumstances outside our control.
3. Accepted & Prohibited Materials
We accept common construction and demolition debris, including concrete, wood, metal, drywall, roofing materials, dirt, and clean fill. We do not accept hazardous waste, asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint debris without proper documentation, electronic waste, medical or biological waste, or liquid waste of any kind. You are responsible for accurately describing the materials you present for collection. Wastenex reserves the right to refuse any load that contains prohibited or misrepresented materials, and additional fees may apply if prohibited materials are discovered after collection.
4. Pricing & Payment
Pricing is based on material type, weight, volume, service type, and project duration, and is confirmed at the time of quote or booking. Payment is due as agreed at booking or upon invoice for established business accounts. We accept cash, check, credit card, and ACH/bank transfer. Late payments may be subject to additional fees or suspension of service until the account is brought current.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a pickup by contacting us as far in advance as possible. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in additional fees or limitations on future scheduling.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that the collection area is reasonably safe and accessible, that materials are accurately described, and that any permits required for your project (such as debris management plans) are obtained from the appropriate local authority. Wastenex can provide supporting documentation but is not responsible for obtaining project-specific permits on your behalf.
7. Licensing & Insurance
Wastenex is licensed and insured to operate as a construction and demolition waste hauler in California and complies with applicable state and local regulations, including those administered by CalRecycle.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wastenex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Wastenex harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misrepresentation of materials presented for collection, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law in connection with your use of the Services.
10. Force Majeure
Wastenex is not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, equipment failure, or government action.
11. Website Use
